Chords on every scale note

Pick a chord shape. Under each scale note you see the numbers to type in your tracker’s arp. Amber digits were bent to stay in scale — that’s the answer to “is it always 0 3 7?” (it isn’t).

Common progressions in this key

Degrees of the scale, played as fast arps — one bar each. Steal freely; every hit song does.

Melody Lab

Generates melodies from the current scale on a 16th-note grid, tracker-style. Click a note to reroll it · double-click to mute it to a rest. ··· = rest, | = note still ringing · 3xx = slide into the note (tone portamento) · the Bass column shows the octave-bass figure playing underneath (display only, no fx). The IT / SWM buttons in the column headers copy that column to the clipboard for DUET, OpenMPT or Schism.

Chip & tracker techniques

The tricks that make three channels sound like a band. Most have a Hear it button.

Theory, in semitones

No staff notation anywhere. Everything is counted in halftone steps, the way your tracker thinks.
