Im Peeshaya! I make music on defMON https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1KUi6BkKFk8 ### 434 Aug 17, 2021 11:42 am martin_demsky Offline Bratislava, Slovakia https://we.tl/t-uOnJIBaJNG I can ask something? I am working some days on new track, and today morning loaded it, but it seems that is damaged, i put a lot of work into it, pattern order seems ok, instrument section is not ok, but it looks like some bits are moved (F810), it can be saved in some way? Otherwise it is probably lost, it is directly composed in defMON so i cannot easily rewrite it from scratch, it is latest .mato15. ### 435 Sep 9, 2021 12:44 pm darenager Offline Nevermind. As time passed, I tried again (a few days back) and I figured out a few things. The problem seems the lack of proper manual (at least few core things missing in any manual for defMON) Anyway, the result is: I tried to update iLKke's defMONing tutorial, grabbed some things I missed there grabbed lot of tricks shared in this forum, tried to give you credits in the document Still, there are some things I'm not familiar with (2sid options, sync options, pulsewidth table lacks of some deeper exploration etc.) I didn't go too deep into SID registers, but I think that's not the point... So, please feel free to edit, comment, share your tricks and knowledge. Maybee this could help some other newcomers to get into defMON. PS: feel free to check my english, because I'm not good at it, I know... If you'd like to host the file in a different file hosting, I'd appreciate it, I just didn't want to upload it as a plain text here... PPS: big thanks all of you to keep defMON pushing for 8 years and big big thanks to frantic for support defMONing 102: https://ulozto.net/file/DuqZ5V0XNLO5/de … 5eDJExZt== Last edited by ryba (Oct 31, 2021 7:13 pm) ### 437 Oct 28, 2021 7:30 pm frantic Offline Nice work! Don't hesitate to add such useful contents to the defMON wiki. Send me a message on here in case you want me to create username/password for you to the wiki. So in the meantime, some news: I heard Zabutom has, or is about to, release something which was made with defMON. Not sure exactly when/where/how. ### 441 Sep 15, 2025 12:34 pm frantic Offline Pretty slow here. So here comes some news in the meantime: I heard Zabutom has, or is about to, release something which was made with defMON. It was on Stilleben records I think, but I don't have much more details (I don't use instagram or facebook, and that seems to be where the info is, perhaps.) ### 442 Sep 17, 2025 3:39 pm ryba Offline Czech Republic Few of us are still around here time to time Cheers! ### 443 May 16, 2026 11:44 am Membrandt Offline FlexiArcade offers a custom 3D printer Keyboard Template for DefMON: https://www.etsy.com/de/listing/4506085 … ve_control ### 444 May 16, 2026 11:45 am Membrandt Offline FlexiArcade offers a custom 3D printer Keyboard Template for DefMON: https://www.etsy.com/de/listing/4506085 … ve_control ## Posts: 433-444 of 444 Pages Previous 1 … 26 27 28 You must login or sign up to post a reply ChipMusic.org / Forums / Commodore Computers / defMON Contact Us Forum Rules and Announcements View Forum Moderators
