Does anyone know if Chris Huelsbeck released his player/editor TFMX (c64 version)? I'm looking since many years now, but I can't find it. Maybe there is a good reason for not spread it to the scene? :> | | | | 2006-04-01 14:07 | | Motion Registered: Aug 2002 Posts: 70 | The only thing that comes to mind is Chris Huelsbeck’s Soundmonitor. That's if my memory is working correctly? ;) | | | 2006-04-01 19:25 | | chatGPZ Registered: Dec 2001 Posts: 11974 | yes TFMX has neither been spread nor leaked in any way. | | | 2006-04-01 21:48 | | dalezy Registered: Apr 2002 Posts: 477 | i do only remember tfmx on amiga, never heard it's been done on c64 as well. are there any tunes from hülsbeck that have been done in tfmx on c64? | | | 2006-04-01 21:55 | | Yodelking Registered: Apr 2002 Posts: 189 | Quote: yes TFMX has neither been spread nor leaked in any way. Hehe.. well that's almost true. :) Anyway, Chris said he would release it some years ago, but wanted to write proper documents for it, so he wouldn't get too many questions about how to use it. He's a busy man, so I guess it won't happen any time soon. | | | 2006-04-01 22:03 | | Yodelking Registered: Apr 2002 Posts: 189 | Quote: i do only remember tfmx on amiga, never heard it's been done on c64 as well. are there any tunes from hülsbeck that have been done in tfmx on c64? C-64 version of TFMX Editor was done 1987 by Chris. Example of a tune done with TFMX ed: /Huelsbeck_Chris/Starball.sid Chris used his Soundmonitor from 1986-1987 (and an adapted version of soundmonitor with digis also 1987). Then some time in 1987 switched to TFMX ed. | | | 2006-04-02 07:29 | | Frantic Registered: Mar 2003 Posts: 1673 | Were there any special features in TFMX which are not reproducible by the set of editors commonly used in these days? I doubt that? (Haven't looked into it though..) | | | 2006-04-02 11:11 | | chatGPZ Registered: Dec 2001 Posts: 11974 | i would think that tfmx, just like any other of his soundengines, has its own unique crappy sound :=P | | | 2006-04-02 11:33 | | Bamu® Account closed Registered: May 2005 Posts: 1332 | Ok, I don't think that it is much advanced .-) | Refresh | Subscribe to this thread: You need to be logged in to post in the forum.
