Also added a font selector with 5 fonts to choose from, including the original Cheesecutter font, directly inside the app. Pattern numbers are now shown inside the tracks too (enable/disable). Raster time meter (enable/disable). There's also a new Waterfall display while composing/playing live, plus a bunch of smaller tweaks. Stay tuned :) User Comment Submitted by SURFiNG on 7 August 2026 | fantastic stuff ! User Comment Submitted by arch0N on 26 July 2026 | @Dr. Voice: Hehe, funny enough I never liked the original font much either :) Some chars, especially “M”, looked like they were bleeding into each other. The font is easy to hack: I included a little browser-based PSF editor at src/font/psf_font_editor_v2.html. Load/edit/save the PSF and rebuild with the included Makefiles. USBSID-Pico would be cool, but that’s a bigger one. Proper USB buffering and rock-solid playback timing means it’s definitely not a quick afternoon hack :) User Comment Submitted by Dr.Voice on 26 July 2026 | Very nice! Been playing around with it since yesterday and it seems much more comfortable to use than the original CC. Not really a fan of the font, but I guess it can be changed pretty easily(?). USBSID-Pico support would be awesome, but that's beyond my knowledge. User Comment Submitted by Isildur on 25 July 2026 | @Arch0N, thanks, ctrl+f9 did the job. On upper timeline small pattern numbers would be nice. You also fixed multispeed buffer overrun, great! :D User Comment Submitted by Mythus on 25 July 2026 | Nice, have to give it a try sometime! :) User Comment Submitted by arch0N on 25 July 2026 | Thanks Isildur! If you mean the quick-help text, press Alt+H to hide it (Option+H on macOS). Ctrl+F9 switches the upper-right display between the oscilloscope and SID register view (Command+F9 on macOS), but does not hide it. The Track Overview/timeline strip across the top is part of the Hypercut interface and cannot be turned off. User Comment Submitted by Isildur on 25 July 2026 | Very nice, but how to turn off upper side of the screen? It's too annoying during composing. | | | Search CSDb | | | All Releases Groups Sceners Events BBS SIDs ------- Forum Comments | | Advanced | | Navigate | | | Prev - Random - Next | | Detailed Info | | | · Summaries · User Comments (8) · Production Notes (1) | | Fun Stuff | | | · Goofs · Hidden Parts · Trivia | | Forum | | | · Discuss this release | | Support CSDb | | | Help keep CSDb running: Funding status: | | | About this site: CSDb (Commodore 64 Scene Database) is a website which goal is to gather as much information and material about the scene around the commodore 64 computer - the worlds most popular home computer throughout time.
