I usually tweak the shape by hand to get a sharper sound and have been happy with it, but I wanted to try and create a supersaw sound in LSDJ. The idea behind the original supersaw was to make one oscillator sound like 7 (!) detuned saw waves.  It might theoretically be possible to do this in LSDJ by hand drawing slightly out-of-sync waveforms and using frame switching in the WAV channel, but the WAV channel synth is a bit noisy when switching frames, so it doesn’t sound very clean. I’m going to keep experimenting with that.  Nevertheless, I did come up with a hand-drawn waveform based on the shape of the supersaw waveform, and it makes a great bass patch with good treble definition and a nice low end that will make the ladies froth and the guys tremble. Or something like that. As a side note to this, if you hear a cool waveform you want to replicate in LSDJ, an easy way to achieve it is to do a google image search (I searched “supersaw waveform” haha) and just try to approximate the shape in the WAV screen. You may come up with some interesting results.
