#### Schism add-ons and nifty stuff

- [Impulse/Schism Tracker](https://electrickeet.com/fonts/) fonts
	– Put these in [~/.schism/fonts](Configuration), then open the menu ‣
Settings ‣ Font Editor (or Shift-F12), and load 'em up. Neat!
- For *even more* fonts (along with a couple of the ones also on the above
page), get the Impulse Tracker Font Customizer from [the IT download
	page](https://web.archive.org/web/20230717163002/http://www.users.on.net/~jtlim/ImpulseTracker/download.html), and
browse through `ITFONTS.ZIP` from within there. (Yes, it is a zip inside a
	zip.)
- [Toshiba Satellite font](https://github.com/lmnoop/ToshiSat.itf) converted from VileR's [The Ultimate Oldschool PC Font Pack](https://int10h.org/oldschool-pc-fonts/)

#### Other trackers

- [Impulse Tracker](https://web.archive.org/web/20230717162958/http://www.users.on.net/~jtlim/ImpulseTracker) – the
official site for the one and only true IT
- [ChibiTracker](http://chibitracker.berlios.de/) – another tracker that copies
many of Impulse Tracker's elements (abandoned)
- [BeRoTracker](http://www.berotracker.de/) – yet another IT clone; BeRoTracker
is focused more on doing spiffy things with VST rather than being a carbon
copy. Think IT3, but not vaporware.
- [MilkyTracker](https://milkytracker.titandemo.org/) – a Fast Tracker clone; runs on
	tons of systems (especially PDAs)
- [OpenMPT](https://openmpt.org/) – the open-source continuation of the first
Windows-based tracker. Only for Windows, but mostly functional on Linux with
	Wine.
- [Renoise](https://www.renoise.com/) – can this even be called a tracker
anymore, or has it evolved into something else entirely? Highly
	feature-packed.

#### Linux audio programs

- [Audacity](https://www.audacityteam.org/) – a sample editor
- [Jokosher](http://www.jokosher.org/) – another sample editor
- [Rosegarden](http://www.rosegardenmusic.com/) – MIDI composition program,
	"Cubase for Linux"
- [Open Cubic Player](http://www.cubic.org/player/) – the legendary DOS app
	gone open-source
- [Linux Multimedia Studio](https://lmms.io/) – Fruity Loops for
	Linux
- [Extended Module Player](http://xmp.sourceforge.net/) – a module
player/plugin with support for tons of file formats

## Useful sites

- [Nectarine](https://scenestream.net/) demoscene radio
- [Mod Archive](https://modarchive.org/) – just what the name implies: an
	archive of mods. Huge.
- [Modland](https://www.exotica.org.uk/wiki/Modland) – a comprehensive, highly
categorized demoscene archive. Great resource for songs in obscure file
formats, or old versions of trackers.
- [Here's a
	tutorial](https://dexp.in/articles/schism-intro/)
on using Schism Tracker (or Impulse Tracker, for that matter)
