Soon after, the founders of Codemasters convinced him to write his own driver. Following that, he jammed on a Casio MT-45 and typed the data in assembly. ### NES According to Gray, he had to compose the music in 6502 assembly. He used a sound driver by Gavin Raeburn. In most of the games he works on, he is often uncredited or listed as "Matt Grey". ## Gameography | Released | Title | Sample | Notes | 1987-??-?? | Driller (C64) | | | 1987-??-?? | Fruit Machine Simulator (C64) | | | 1987-??-?? | Hunter's Moon (C64) | | | 1987-??-?? | Mind-Roll (C64) | | | 1987-??-?? | Quedex (C64) | | | 1988-??-?? | Driller (AMI) | | | 1988-??-?? | Last Ninja 2: Back With a Vengeance (C64) | | | 1988-??-?? | Pogo Stick Olympics (C64) | | | 1988-??-?? | Professional BMX Simulator (C64) | | | 1989-??-?? | 4 Soccer Simulators (C64) | | | 1989-??-?? | Dominator (C64) | | | 1989-??-?? | Maze Mania (C64) | | | 1989-??-?? | Motocross (C64) | | Main Theme was shortened and reused for The Ultimate Stuntman (NES). | 1989-??-?? | Treasure Island Dizzy (C64) | | | 1989-??-?? | Tusker (C64) | | | 1990-??-?? | Deliverance: Stormlord II (C64) | | | 1990-??-?? | Vendetta (C64) | | | 1990-??-?? | Professional BMX Simulator (NES) | | Music ported by Gavin Raeburn. | 1991-??-?? | Big Nose the Caveman (NES) | | Miscredited as "Matthew Grey". | 1991-??-?? | The Ultimate Stuntman (NES) | | Not credited. | 1991-??-?? | Micro Machines: The Original Scale Miniatures (NES) | | | 1993-??-?? | Fantastic Adventures of Dizzy (NES) | | | 2003-08-14 | Seiklus (W32) | | Converted Driller from Amiga version | 2005-??-?? | Stuck in Castle Nessenstein (NES) | | Cover of Mansion Loader from Last Ninja 2 | 2010-07-31 | VVVVVV (C64) | | Reused Driller from Commodore version ## Picture Gallery - September 11, 2014; Gray's Facebook. ## Links - mobygames.com/developer/sheet/view/developerId,35229/ - MobyGames. - facebook.com/MattGrayC64 - Facebook Official Fan Page. - twitter.com/MattGrayC64 - Twitter. - atlantis-prophecy.org/recollection/?load=interviews&id_interview=188 - Interview from November 18, 2014. - c64.com/gt_display_interview.php?interview=36 - Interview from November 28, 2014. - retrogamesmaster.co.uk/matt-gray-interview/ - Interview from 2017.
