- Started in August 1993 with a gravis-ultrasound, ripped Amiga samples and MODEDIT 2.0; joined KLF (Kosmic) after finding its music on The Sound Barrier BBS and mailing maelcum UUENCODEd songs.
- Tools: MultiTracker (MMEDIT) on a 386-25. Workflow: pick samples, start, and let the first sample set decide where the song goes, swapping samples as needed — "a really spontaneous thing" (tracking-workflow).
- A year each of sax and clarinet, two years of keyboard writing with a friend; bassist in the band Psyko-Reactiv. Listens to ambient (Aphex Twin, Orbital, Maelcum, basehead, AndrewM), rave, industrial, alternative.
