Cybernoid (Jeroen Tel, 1988)

hewson's 1988 shooter (C64 release 1988-03 per VGMPF) with jeroen-tel's title music — one of the games the Hugi biography names as his best known — composed as note tables in charles-deenen's musicfile driver (sources: s-vgmpf-maniacs-of-noise, s-hugi38-interview-jeroen-tel, s-cybernoid-behind-the-notes).

• Among maniacs-of-noise's first jobs after Battle Valley, Starball and Scout (source: s-vgmpf-maniacs-of-noise).
• The 2014 video Cybernoid I --behind the notes-- (7:17) plays the tune over its Turbo Assembler source; Lemon64's discussion: "Deenen did all the maths, Jeroen played the notes" (source: s-cybernoid-behind-the-notes).

• For dustbin the title track was "the first Tel's tune I've listened to… And it's still beautiful" — one of his three best SIDs ever, with Sanxion's loader and Wizball (source: s-sidin07-dustbin-interview).
