Triton (Fredrik Huss and Magnus Högdahl)

The Swedish group whose programmers Fredrik Huss and Magnus Högdahl wrote fasttracker-2: Huss's FastTracker 1.01 (1993-01-23, 8 channels) and the two authors' 2.00 (November 1994) through 2.06 (1996); the 2.08 build of 1997 "has not been officially released by StarBreeze" — the name under which the group continued (source: s-tracker-history-notes). Their introduction to the 2.08 manual states the design creed — "Who want to do more effects? We made instruments instead of a bunch of effect columns" — and the manual's mouse pointers are named after them ("Vogue" and "Mr. H"); Triton Productions co-published the manual (source: s-ft2-manual).
